Steel Attack - Where Mankind Fails (1999)




Steel Attack es una banda de power metal de Sala, Suecia formada en 1995.
Stefan Westerberg y Dennis Vestman formó a Eva Mayer en 1995. La banda cambió su nombre por el de Steel Attack en 1997, debido a muchos ir y venir de miembros.
La banda comenzó con el estilo y energía de bandas de metal europeo, con el contenido lírico de batallas épicas, dragones y espadas mezclado con voces de tono alto.

Avenged Sevenfold - Nightmare (2010)

Nightmare es el quinto álbum de estudio de la banda de heavy metal Avenged Sevenfold, que salió a la venta el 27 de julio de 2010 bajo el sello Warner Bros. Records. Es el primer álbum del grupo tras la muerte de The Rev, antiguo batería que en este disco fue reemplazado por Mike Portnoy de Dream Theater. No obstante, antes de su muerte The Rev grabó algunos de los coros que se escuchan en la grabación. Hasta la fecha se han extraído tres sencillos del álbum: "Nightmare" (18 de mayo), "Buried Alive" (17 de julio) y "Welcome to the Family" (23 de julio).

Mike Portnoy fue quien grabo la bateria de todas las canciones del disco poniendo su tilde progresivo en la banda.

Suspyre - A Great Divide - 2007



Formada en 2001, SUSPYRE es una mezcla de metal y prog-sinfónico donde los músicos que integran a la banda exhiben sus diversas influencias. Son jóvenes y talentosos músicos de New Jersey, quienes descubrieron una peculiar y enérgica manera de combinar el rock progresivo y el metal con diversos géneros como la música formal y el jazz.

Octubre 24 de 2005 fue testigo de la primera realización de larga duración de SUSPYRE, el álbum "The Silvery Image". La respuesta al CD fue tan buena que la banda consiguió contrato con el Sello NightmareRecords, siguiendo con la realización de su segundo álbum, "A Great Divide" en marzo de 2007. Comparado con "The Silvery Image", "A Great Divide" es más diverso en muchos sentidos: complicados y largos pasajes musicales son balanceados con canciones cortas y sencillas mientras ritmos sólidos se tocan junto a métricas impares. Se nota un buen balance en la interacción de ritmos duros, secciones orquestales embriagantes y energéticas y disonantes, progresivo clásico e imitación de buen gusto.

Estos muchachos vienen de Caracas/Venezuela, para los que no los conocen la banda comenzó en el 2006 con el nombre de proyecto Haggard, estos son mas de 16 músicos en escena con instrumentos de orquesta…Las tendencias musicales retoman el renacimiento, barroco pasando por Pergolesi, Bach, Mozart y con la fuerza que da un Shostakovich, teniendo como base el metal… Sus presentaciones eran covers de la famosa banda Alemana pero en el 2008 sacaron su álbum debut este lleva por nombre Violent Wishpers.

Violent Wishpers fue presentado por primera vez el sábado 17 de mayo del 2008 en el Teatro municipal de caracas… Hace algunas semanas tuve la oportunidad de hablar con Carlos el guitarrista y informo que actualmente la banda se encuentra grabando su segundo álbum en México donde tendrá a Gaby Koss como vocal femenina.
